Ski glove liners are thin inner gloves worn underneath your regular ski gloves or mittens to add an extra layer of warmth without adding bulk. The trixski Silk Ski Glove Liners are made from fine natural silk, giving cold-prone fingers real extra warmth while still slipping neatly under your existing gloves or mittens.

They're a simple fix for a common problem: even good-quality ski gloves can leave fingertips freezing, especially when you take gloves off briefly to adjust boots, blow your nose or take a photo.

Why silk works as a liner:  silk is a naturally fine, warm fibre that traps heat effectively without the bulk of fleece or wool liners, which is what makes it well suited to fitting inside already snug ski gloves.

Key features:

  •          Natural silk fabric – provides meaningful warmth in a very thin layer, so it doesn't compete for space inside your outer glove.
  •          Substantial wrist cuffs – extend well up the wrist to close the gap between glove and sleeve, a common spot for cold air to get in.
  •          Slim, low-bulk fit – designed to sit close to the skin so mittens and gloves, including snugger mitten styles, still fit properly on top.
  •          Unisex sizing – five sizes from Small to Extra Extra Large, measured from middle fingertip to 5–6cm above the wrist crease, so you can size for a precise fit rather than guessing.
  •          Colour: Black.

FAQ

Do glove liners actually make a difference to warmth?

Yes — even a thin layer of silk adds meaningful insulation and closes small gaps where cold air reaches the skin, which is often what makes fingers feel cold even in decent gloves.

Will liners make my ski gloves too tight?

No — silk is thin enough that it shouldn't noticeably affect the fit of most gloves or mittens, since it's designed to sit close to the skin rather than add bulk.

Can I wear these with mittens?

Yes — the slim fit means mittens, including snugger mitten styles, still fit comfortably over the top.

How do I know which size to choose?

Measure from your middle fingertip to about 5–6cm above your wrist crease, then match that measurement to the closest size, from 23cm (Small) up to 27cm (Extra Extra Large).

Are they only useful for skiing?

No — they work well anytime you need extra warmth under gloves in cold conditions, such as winter walking or other outdoor activities.

Why silk instead of fleece or wool liners?

Silk gives warmth without bulk, so it's easier to fit under already snug ski gloves without changing how they fit or feel.
